ABOUT THE COMPANY

Thrive Student Living is one of the leading private student accommodation providers in South Africa. We provide quality accommodation that contributes to successful academic outcomes and the development of lifelong learning and friendships. Our properties are in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town.

About The Bursary

Thrive Student Living believes in lifting as we rise. Given this, we have developed a bursary scheme that assists students from the so-called missing middle with partial bursaries for their accommodation fees. We believe that provision of quality accommodation assists in successful academic outcomes. The underfunding of the missing middle demographics results in students residing in inferior accommodation which limits their chances of successful academic outcomes.

What will the Bursary include?

  • Discounts on Accommodation Rental fees (only)
  • If you are unable to pay one of your discounted monthly rentals as provided by the bursary, then you risk eviction and losing your bursary discount permanently.

Any applicant or awardee later revealed to not be studying full-time; will have their bursary contract/offer terminated and required to refund all benefits provided to them by the bursary.

Bursaries will be awarded in line with the Employment Equity plan of the organisation.
